# Parameter-Cloaking

Notizen zu Parameter-Cloaking für die Labs der PortSwigger Web Security Academy, einschließlich Ausnutzungsablauf, Payload-Tests, Burp-Suite-Validierung und Behebungskontext.

### Parameter-Verschleierung

**Erste Beobachtung**

Das folgende Cookie erscheint in der Anfrage:

```bash
Cookie: country=[object Object]
```

<figure><img src="https://2955439919-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2Fl4EVJpcOrsgjSGsLI7p2%2Fuploads%2Fgit-blob-347c3908251db87efa566857c5c8269869f4480e%2F%7B59183D27-91D4-4A67-B37F-9A29856BD6AA%7D.png?alt=media" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

Der entdeckte Parameter lautet:

```bash
utm_content
```

<figure><img src="https://2955439919-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2Fl4EVJpcOrsgjSGsLI7p2%2Fuploads%2Fgit-blob-64ba404c5225bc25fb0ca8abfa49ff4e0aa71d15%2F%7B7A4C69CA-3BE9-4DCA-8BB2-47C9992BAB3D%7D.png?alt=media" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

Wenn Sie die folgende URL aufrufen:

```bash
/?utm_content=z9qc51
```

<figure><img src="https://2955439919-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2Fl4EVJpcOrsgjSGsLI7p2%2Fuploads%2Fgit-blob-f2e5161348525f75826286872f15b4470928ee42%2F%7BF8FDA3E8-345E-4BA2-8936-875627D058CE%7D.png?alt=media" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

Wir beobachten, dass:

* Der Parameterwert kann frei geändert werden
* Der Cache \*\*wird nicht invalidiert\*\*
* Die Antwort bleibt für die folgenden Nutzer gleich

Das bestätigt, dass `utm_content` ist **vom Cache-Schlüssel ausgeschlossen**.

**Betrieb über das geolocate-Skript**

Das von der Seite geladene Skript ist:

```bash
/js/geolocate.js?callback=setCountryCookie
```

Hinzufügen des vom Cache ignorierten Parameters:

```bash
/js/geolocate.js?callback=setCountryCookie=test?utm_content=z9111
```

Das folgende Verhalten wird beobachtet:

* Das `test` Wert wird in der Antwort reflektiert
* Der Cache bleibt unverändert

<figure><img src="https://2955439919-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2Fl4EVJpcOrsgjSGsLI7p2%2Fuploads%2Fgit-blob-c0ec82e9e23a5b37b4f9ac1befae385a6bb0744d%2F%7B8770FD66-DE7B-489B-918D-FD164C725FD0%7D.png?alt=media" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

**Injektion via Parameter-Verschleierung**

Dieser Parsing-Unterschied wird ausgenutzt, indem ein **zweiten callback-Parameter** maskiert durch `utm_content`:

```bash
/js/geolocate.js?callback=setCountryCookie&utm_content=z9111;callback=alert(1)
```

Ergebnis:

<figure><img src="https://2955439919-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2Fl4EVJpcOrsgjSGsLI7p2%2Fuploads%2Fgit-blob-5612d5cf630ed4e6030329f482fe43b49eeac2c2%2F%7BE0C7D0B7-48EF-4AA5-89D4-C313340F619F%7D.png?alt=media" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

<figure><img src="https://2955439919-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2Fl4EVJpcOrsgjSGsLI7p2%2Fuploads%2Fgit-blob-01d00681eb96e35ffd716faefd245f13023de4a3%2F%7B8AB5CB75-F0E8-4DD7-B637-93BC769301E4%7D.png?alt=media" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the following URL with the `ask` and `goal` query parameters:

```
GET https://hacking-notes.jord4n.pro/de/web/cache-poisoning/parameter-cloaking.md?ask=<question>&goal=<user_goal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is what the user is ultimately trying to achieve, the reason they need the answer. Sharing it helps GitBook give you a better, more relevant answer. A goal is most helpful when it describes the outcome the user wants rather than restating the question. For example, with `ask=how do I create an API token`, a goal like `automate deployments from our CI pipeline` lets GitBook tailor the answer to that use case.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
