# GraphQL ミューテーション
GraphQL ミューテーションに関する、Webアプリケーションのペネトレーションテスト、エクスプロイトのワークフロー、ペイロード検証、影響評価、修正の文脈でのメモ。

一方で、 **GraphQLのミューテーション** は、クライアントがAPI内のデータを変更できるようにする操作です。データの読み取りのみを許可するクエリとは異なり、ミューテーションではクライアントがデータを追加、更新、削除できます。つまり、ミューテーションはAPIの背後にあるデータベースに対して大きな変更を加えるために使われる可能性があります。適切に保護されていない場合、ミューテーションは攻撃者に悪用され、重要なデータの削除や新しいレコードの作成といった、API内での悪意ある変更を実行されるおそれがあります。
