# O que é uma ACL?

Um **ACL** , ou **Lista de Controle de Acesso**, é uma lista que define as permissões aplicadas a um objeto.

Na interface gráfica do Windows, ela pode ser consultada em:

```

Uma ACL permite ver:

* quais usuários têm permissões no objeto;
* quais grupos têm permissões no objeto;
* quais direitos são concedidos;
* quais direitos são herdados;
* quais direitos são definidos explicitamente.
