# Token de acesso

#### Definição

Um **token de acesso** é um objeto do Windows que descreve o contexto de segurança de um processo ou thread.

Quando um usuário faz login, o Windows verifica suas credenciais.

Se a autenticação for bem-sucedida, o sistema gera um token de acesso.

Cada processo iniciado em nome desse usuário recebe uma cópia desse token.

#### Conteúdo de um token

Um token pode conter:

* o SID do usuário;
* SIDs de grupo;
* privilégios;
* o nível de integridade;
* o tipo de token;
* o logon da sessão associada;
* informações relacionadas à elevação do UAC.

#### Utilidade do token

O Windows usa o token para determinar se um processo ou thread pode acessar um objeto seguro.

Exemplos de objetos seguros:

* arquivo ;
* pasta;
* chave do registro;
* serviço ;
* processo ;
* compartilhamento de rede;
* objeto do Active Directory.

Quando um processo tenta acessar um recurso, o Windows compara:

Acesso permitido ou negado
