# Validando o Início da Travessia de Diretório do Caminho
### Traversal de caminho de arquivo, validação do início do caminho
A aplicação transmite o caminho completo do arquivo por meio de um parâmetro de consulta e verifica apenas se esse caminho **começa** com a pasta esperada. Essa validação é insuficiente: ao adicionar depois do prefixo permitido, é possível acessar arquivos arbitrários.
#### **Análise**
O parâmetro filename inclui diretamente um caminho absoluto, por exemplo:
```bash
/var/www/images
```
Se alguém tentar um atravessamento clássico:
```bash
../../../../../etc/passwd
```
a aplicação o bloqueia.
Mas se fornecermos **o caminho esperado**, seguido de `../` sequências para sair, a validação não detecta a fuga:
Como o caminho começa corretamente com `/var/www/images/`, a verificação é satisfeita, mas a resolução final na verdade aponta para `/etc/passwd`.
