# AS-REP Roasting

### Принцип

**AS-REP Roasting** Это техника, нацеленная на учетные записи Active Directory, настроенные с параметром:

Не требовать предварительной аутентификации Kerberos
```

Ответ содержит данные, зашифрованные ключом, полученным из пароля пользователя.

Затем эти данные можно атаковать офлайн с помощью такого инструмента, как John the Ripper или Hashcat.

### Почему это опасно

Эта атака опасна, потому что:

* она не обязательно требует действительных учетных данных;
* ее можно выполнить удаленно против KDC;
* взлом выполняется офлайн;
* она сильно зависит от надежности пароля пользователя.
